Looks "environmentally friendly"?! Funny, these seem to be rare on the Shore-I guess 'cuz we're so rural and there's hardly a place that is hooked up to city water. The pumper trucks can just pump water for the fire right out of the nearest river or pond:-)

I'm not sure what the green is about, but I'm pretty sure most of them are yellow.
Drive down business 13 and you notice them if you look for them.
Yah, yellow is more common, I think, although when you're a kid they tell you that they are red. The green is weird.
Who told you they were red when you were a kid? Probably someone who was going to public school. Haha.
my impression was gained through all evidence given to me! On the west coast i saw whits and blue ones!
i have since seen many red ones
